The Indiana Dunes

We were headed to my Uncle Vince’s and all the local people recommended The Indiana Dunes(Just the dunes in general). They were very cool and I was surprised that you could walk on them, so we went to the top and then ran down as fast as we could. It was right next to One of the Great Lakes- Lake Michigan. So we walked along it and then we came to another dune and we walked up, looked at the view and then ran down. If you don’t know what dunes are – they are just sand hills. That’s pretty much what they are. One memory I had there was the small sand wall blocked the waves and made a small river, it was a Yellow/Orange. We joked that there was small pieces of gold or it was a river of apple juice. The lakes are like oceans and if you go to Michigan I recommend the dunes on the Great Lakes.
