So on into Michigan. A four and a half hour drive with stops from Chicago. Long but worth it. At Uncle Vince’s we slept in the basement. They gave us goodie bags with blankets and more. A lovely place. They had three dogs.

Uncle Vince and Aunt Laura live on a lake. They also own a boat. The first night was good. I slept on an air mattress, Jonah slept on a futon, and Julia slept on a chair. The next day we went on there boat. We had to drive to the boat because they didn’t get their dock yet. Me, Julia, and Jonah went in the jeep with Aunt Laura.

My parents and Uncle Vince went in the truck. We had fun on the boat.

Later that night Uncle Vince’s parent came to stay the night. We made delicious s’mores.

Then it was time for bed. Me and Julia switched sleeping spots. Woke up and we are out.
